I was thinking of 'tw.txt' to avoid a double T issue... Anyway I'd say the extension and MIME type are important to know what a file (could) contain https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/MIME_types/Common_types

Reading the original spec, I understand why it should be a .txt file instead of, let's say twtxt or anything else. In any case it could be nick.twtxt to support multiple users in the same directory.

What is curious to me was the decision at that moment of twtxt [dot] txt. You have the text part twice 🤔. Like mydb.db or eapl_todo.todo. Nothing really transcendental, just thinking out loud. https://twtxt.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user/configuration.html

hehe, yes, I'm having problems with https://eapl.mx/pequeña/ being renamed to https://eapl.mx/peque%C3%B1a/

yep, my point is that the txt part is redundant for twtxt

Also a .txt file could be in any format, for example those plans from John Carmak are stored now as .txt -> https://github.com/ESWAT/john-carmack-plan-archive/blob/master/by_day/johnc_plan_19960218.txt Although being named .plan was expected for them to work, if I recall correctly -> http://www.catb.org/jargon/html/P/plan-file.html

did it work? I tried loading the file from /twtxt.txt, /twtAgent.php and /twtAgent2.php

Also reading the code, I see it creates two files, but I'm not sure which you are using now: http://darch.dk/twtAgent.log <- 403 Forbidden and http://darch.dk/twtAgent.csv <- Not found here

I sent a few local tests, could you help me check if you see https://eapl.mx/twtxt.txt in your log file?

If you want more eyes on the agent, you can tell tell me, as I was thinking on something similar to catch those 'following requests'.

BTW, researching on that I found that @prologic was working on the following https://git.mills.io/yarnsocial/useragent#supported-user-agent-formats

I wasn't aware of a few User-Agent Formats.

And I'm checking that timeline is not sending those headers. I should push a change on that soon.

Esto, comenzando a leer "CONTENT: Selected Essays on Technology, Creativity, Copyright and the Future of the Future"

What are you playing now?

I've been into Pokémon Black, although it's going slowly and switched to a more recent game, Inscryption, which has a 90s-2000s vibes.

not exactly the same topic, although I found a wordlist useful to generate passphrases, for example with Bitwarden, 1password or Keepass

[lang=en] By the way, have you played with Station on Gemini?

I like that using Gemtext, you can have a pretty decent microblogging platform. Imagine that with decentralization from twtxt. That sounds appealing to me!

[lang=en] I love this topic about definitions, it's key to have meaningful conversations. Thanks for sharing that link.

Communication is vital for succeeding in any activity that requires the participation of more than one individual.

This is why it is so important to be tight and consistent with definitions and to fully understand them. Love this

[lang=en] That was the reason for twtxt-php =P I tried using CLI tools but it was too hacky, I think. More if we consider Jakob's Law, where we have prior expectations of a microblogging system.

A Web interface could be quite minimalistic and usable as well. (And mobile-friendly)

What I see here is that when I was reading your .txt, the timestamp was like 40 minutes later than current time. Say it's 1pm and that twt is timed on 1.40pm

No idea why, perhaps your server has a wrong Timezone, or your twtxt tool is doing some timezome conversion?

hehe, I tryied it for like 2 minutes, a few friends are there... And I don't like it at all. I don't use Instagram for example, family and friends do, but I don't like it either.

I don't know, perhaps too much influencer's and clickbait content, rather than something appealing to me.
